Balancing Cleanse Day 1
Good Morning! I woke up early to make sure I am able to get everything organized for my busy day today. I did my meal plan yesterday for today to make things a bit less hectic. I also printed out the 21 Day Fix Meal Tracker from Beach Body for an easy way to count my calories. My plan is that I am going to eat 1200 calories plus drink 2 juices from Green Leaf Juicing company Monday through Thursday and then Friday and Saturday and Sunday I will do a soup cleanse. During the week my total in take of calories will be close to 1600 calories while I am teaching my yoga classes and taking ballet classes plus my daughter wants me to do the 21 Day Fix workout with her and the 30 Day Pilates challenge that I decided to start this month. My total hours of exercise usually runs about 18 to 20 hours a week. I am not sure if my body will sustain on just 1600 calories but it is going to be my goal. On the weekend when I am not working out really hard I will be having 1200 calories eating soup and doing restorative yoga especially Yin Yoga. I will talk about Yin yoga later in the week.
Here is a sample of what my meals will look like.
8 am- Quinoa and Fruit with a teaspoon of organic honey, 1 Tbs of organic shredded coconut and 1 Tbs of hemp seed
9 am- I bottle of Green Juice
11 am – Protein Shake (Vega brand)
12 pm- Veggies and Hummus and 10 crackers ( Mary’s Gone Crackers)
2 pm – 1 bottle of Juice
4pm – Veggie burger. sweet potato, and veggies ( meal 4 and 5 will be combined)
9 pm- This is the time I get home from Ballet class and I am usually pretty hungry. I will have 1 protein and 1 veggie left to eat so im not quite sure what I will want to eat this late at night. I will let you know tomorrow.
To measure my food I am using the cute little measuring cups from the 21 Day fix program.
